International scientific and practical conference
" INTERNATIONAL NETWORK COOPERATION IN OVERCOMING THE CONSEQUENCES OF ARMED CONFLICTS: THE CASE OF UKRAINE"
The purpose of the event is to create a multidisciplinary communication platform for representatives of human rights institutions, law enforcement agencies, the scientific community, civil society institutions, as well as other interested persons who are involved in the procedures for fixing and assessing damages, forming the right of claim and applying for compensation for damage caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against of Ukraine.
The main thematic directions of the Conference:

culpable actions of the aggressor and the damage caused: cause-and-effect relationship as a necessary condition of the evidence base for the investigation of war crimes and the consideration of a civil claim

topical issues of the unification of approaches to the formation of the right to demand compensation for damage caused as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine

improvement of international and national legal procedures for applying for compensation for damage caused as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine

expert provision of justice in cases of compensation for damage caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine

problematic issues of implementation and application of special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) at the national and international levels

the problem of forming a source of compensation for damage at the expense of "frozen" assets, persons who finance terrorist conflicts and directly participate in armed conflicts
-
private companies and individuals as accomplices of the aggression of the Russian Federation: cause and effect relationship between actions and damage, their property as a source of compensation for damage caused by aggression

international cooperation during the investigation of war crimes.
Form of conduct: the conference will be held in the format of live communication, and online participation on the ZOOM platform is also provided. The event will be broadcast on a separate YouTube channel. The conference program and the link for participation will be sent to registered participants additionally.

Working hours of the conference: from 09:00 to 15:00 (Washington time) from 16:00 to 22:00 (Kyiv time)

Terms of participation in the conference:
To participate in the conference, it is necessary to send all the following materials by e-mail by April 15, 2023 (indicate the name of the participant in the subject of the letter):
