The procedure for maintaining a unified register of lawyers of Ukraine

WARNING! The application for the initial entry of information to ЕРАУ is submitted by a lawyer to the Bar Council in person and is not considered from the EDS!

The list of documents required for the initial entry of information to ЕРАУ

– Application to submit information to ЕРАУ;
– A copy of the certificate of the right to practice law;
– A copy of the attorney’s certificate;
– A copy of the qualification exam certificate;
– A document confirming the address of the workplace.

In the case of advocacy:
Individually:

(lease agreement, extract confirming the right of ownership, passport with a note on the place of registration, etc.).

As part of the law firm, the law association:

– Order on hiring;
– Extract/Extract from the register of legal entities.

– Receipt for the payment of the lawyer’s annual contribution to ensure the implementation of the lawyer’s self-government.

Requirements for the form and content of the application for changes to the ERA, submitted using an electronic digital signature (EDS)

In the event that the application for changes to the ERA is submitted by e-mail using EDS, it must meet the following requirements:

  1. The application is sent to the official e-mail address of the Kyiv Region Bar Council info@radako.com.ua exclusively from the e-mail address specified in the lawyer’s profile in ЕРАУ.
  2. The application and all attachments to it must be scanned in one color PDF file and signed with the lawyer’s electronic digital signature.

Documents should be scanned in the following order:

– Application to submit information to ЕРАУ;
– A copy of the certificate of the right to practice law;
– A copy of the attorney’s certificate;
– A document confirming the address of the workplace.

In the case of advocacy:
Individually:

(lease agreement, extract confirming the right of ownership, passport with a note on the place of registration, etc.).

As part of the law firm, the law association:

– Order on hiring;
– Extract/Extract from the register of legal entities

The list of documents required for renewing the right to engage in advocacy based on clause 4 Art. 31 of the Law of Ukraine “On Advocacy and Advocacy”

– Application for renewal of the right to engage in advocacy;
– Application to submit information to ЕРАУ;
– A copy of the certificate of the right to practice law;
– A copy of the attorney’s certificate;
– A document confirming the address of the workplace.

In the case of advocacy:
Individually:

(lease agreement, extract confirming the right of ownership, passport with a note on the place of registration, etc.).

As part of the law firm, the law association:

– Order on hiring;
– Extract/Extract from the register of legal entities

In the case of a lawyer sending an application for making any changes to the information contained in the ERAU by postal means, the authenticity of the lawyer’s signature on the application is notarized.
