On May 31, at 3:00 p.m., within the framework of the cooperation of NAAU committees and the Higher School of Advocacy of NAAU, a round table will be held "Peculiarities of resolving family disputes during martial law".
- a large number of people dispersed to different cities and countries. These are clients, opponents, colleagues, and witnesses who had to testify in cases. Communication has become more difficult, which makes it impossible to quickly resolve urgent issues;
- special modes of operation of courts, notaries, state bodies, various institutions and organizations are established;
- access to the Unified Register of Court Decisions and other state registers is limited, there is no possibility to check the status of cases. There is often no opportunity to get acquainted with the case materials, which greatly complicates the process of providing legal assistance;
- there are constant updates of the current legislation, due to the need for operational regulation of certain processes in the conditions of martial law;
- usual divorce or alimony cases were replaced by numerous requests for travel abroad, recovery of lost documents, birth/death facts, etc.
In connection with this, the Committee on Family Law of NAAU initiated the holding of an expert round table on the legal educational platform of the Higher School of Advocacy of NAAU.
