The Bar Council of the Kyiv region reports on conducting a pilot training on first aid for victims.
The training is pilot, so it will initially be held for a small group of 10 lawyers. In case of interest and demand, the training will be repeated for a larger number of participants.
Date: September 2, 2023 (starts at 10:00 a.m.). The approximate duration of the training is approximately 8 hours.

The number of places is limited, so the first 10 applications will be included in the list of training participants.
This course was developed according to the recommendations of the ERC – European Resuscitation Council and provides the basics of first aid.
Lawyers will receive clear information on actions in various situations where there are injured people, and will receive first aid skills according to modern European standards.
The training is conducted by Yaroslav Vus , a doctor of emergency medicine, head of the All-Ukrainian Union of Paramedics and his colleagues.
Course program:
- Legal and psychological aspects of providing pre-medical care.
- The initial algorithm of action in providing first aid.
- Overview of the scene. Identification of dangerous factors that threaten victims and others.
- Initial examination of the victim, detection of signs of life.
- Call an ambulance.
- Stable position of the victim who lost consciousness (alcohol poisoning).
- Human cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR): artificial lung ventilation with and without special equipment, technique of closed (indirect) heart massage, use of an automatic external defibrillator, drowning, obstruction of the respiratory tract (person choked).
- Convulsive (epileptic) attack.
- Acute violation of cerebral circulation (Stroke).
- Worsening of the condition caused by pain in the heart (myocardial infarction).
- Wounds and bleeding: types of bleeding, the importance of timely stopping bleeding, the algorithm for stopping bleeding, applying bandages and tourniquets.
- Burns Electric injury.
