At an online meeting on February 21, the Bar Council of Ukraine adopted a number of decisions regarding the functioning of the Unified Register of Bars of Ukraine.
Thus, the Bar Council of Ukraine made changes to the Rules of Conduct of the ERAU regarding the information of lawyers who received a certificate of the right to practice law in a body improperly created in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and the acts of the NAAU. Such information of lawyers, as noted, is considered unreliable.
At the suggestion of Hanna Lazarchuk, a member of the RAU from the Rivne region, the Bar Council of Ukraine decided to make changes to the Rules of Conduct of the RAU so that a separate line in the lawyer's profile would display the information that such information in the RAU regarding the right to practice law has not been confirmed by the lawyer and do not meet the requirements of authenticity in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Advocacy and Advocacy" and the procedure for maintaining the Unified Register of Advocates of Ukraine.
The RAU also introduced a number of technical amendments to ensure the functioning of the Unified Register of Advocates of Ukraine.
