Measures regarding cases with the participation of Ukraine, taken at the beginning of March this year. will be reviewed by the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).
As ECtHR judge Mykola Hnatovskyi reported , from September 1, 2022, the Court will in some aspects return to the normal procedure for dealing with such cases.
"Outgoing correspondence with the applicants will resume as soon as possible, and general information for all applicants will be available on the court's website. Cases will be reopened and new time limits will be set for pending cases, taking into account, as far as possible, the actual ability of the parties to answer the questions raised. The notification and publication of decisions will gradually be restored," Mykola Hnatovsky noted.
We will remind that on March 2 this year at the request of the Ukrainian government due to the full-scale Russian invasion, the ECtHR, as an exceptional step, announced the suspension of all processes and communications that would require a response or action from the Ukrainian authorities.
