In the near future, the lawyers of the Kyiv region will face the inevitable – they will have to elect a new leader. At the reporting and election conference scheduled for February 19 this year, among others, the issue of electing the head of the Kyiv Region Bar Council is being discussed.
This position can no longer be held by Petro Boyko, who has headed the Council for two consecutive terms since its creation. Therefore, the upcoming conference will be interesting because the leader will change in the largest lawyer region of Ukraine. And although the delegates of the conference, who will be elected only on February 18 of this year, will vote, the lawyers of the region have already determined their position.
In particular, on January 27, 2022, during a joint meeting of the Bar Council and KDKA of Kyiv region, a decision was made to nominate a single candidate for the post of RAKO Chairman – lawyer Fedor Klapchuk, and Olga Demydyuk to be the head of KDKA.
