From April 2019, lawyers, law associations or law offices initiate the generation of warrants, respectively, from lawyers practicing law individually, heads (authorized persons) of law associations, law offices through the official website of NAAU.
The old paper order form is invalid and cannot be used from January 1, 2022 .
It is not prohibited to make corrections and additions in the order for the provision of legal assistance, which is issued by a lawyer or a lawyer’s office or a lawyer’s association, in the event that the scope of the lawyer’s powers changes within the scope of such an agreement.
The warrant for the provision of legal assistance does not replace the contract for the provision of legal assistance, which is the basis for practicing law, but is only a document certifying the attorney’s authority to provide legal assistance to the client.
At the same time, a warrant can be drawn up by a lawyer on the basis of a verbal agreement with a client who is, in particular, in a pre-trial detention center, but the lawyer is obliged to conclude an agreement on the provision of legal assistance in writing with the client as soon as possible.
Article 24 of the Law “On Advocacy and Advocacy” defines the mandatory case of a lawyer issuing a warrant – during the exercise of the right to submit a lawyer’s request.
In case of loss of a lawyer’s license, it is necessary to contact the Council with the following documents:
– an announcement to the newspaper about the loss of the certificate (any official legal publication) with the following content: “In connection with the loss of the lawyer’s certificate___P.I.B.___, serial number__AI 9191__issued___ “_”___ ____ year, please consider it invalid.”
– a certificate of the right to engage in advocacy;
– a color photo of 3X4 cm size in electronic form;
– signature sample;
– a receipt for payment for the production of a certificate.
In case of theft of a lawyer’s license, it is necessary to contact the Council with the following documents:
– a certificate/other document from the police confirming the fact that a lawyer has filed a statement of theft;
– an announcement to the newspaper about the theft of a license (any official legal publication) with the following content: “In connection with the theft of the license of the lawyer___P.I.B.___, serial number__AI 9191__issued___ “_”___ ____ year, please consider it invalid.”
– a certificate of the right to engage in advocacy;
– a color photo of 3X4 cm size in electronic form;
– signature sample;
– a receipt for payment for the production of a certificate.
